Social responsibilityServices

At Enova, social responsibility is at the heart of everything we do across the Western Balkans. We work with public and private sector clients, international financial institutions, and development partners to manage social risks and ensure projects meet international standards.

Social impact assessments

  • Social assessment and community engagement/profiling
  • Identification of gaps and support for compliance with lender and regulatory expectations

Stakeholder engagement

  • Identification and mapping of relevant stakeholders, including vulnerable and marginalised groups
  • Preparation of Stakeholder Engagement Plans

Land acquisition and resettlement

  • Conducting social and land surveys to identify affected persons and assessing impacts on their land and livelihood
  • Development and implementation of resettlement planning instruments

Vulnerability and gender analyses

  • Assessment of how project impacts may differ for vulnerable groups (e.g. women, elderly, ethnic minorities, disabled persons)
  • Identification of gender-related risks and support for inclusive planning

Community health & safety assessments

  • Assessment of community vulnerabilities related to project activities
  • Assessment of community exposure risks related to hazardous materials (e.g. asbestos)
  • Identification of vulnerable groups (e.g. children, elderly, informal workers) at risk from project-related health impacts
  • Life and Fire Safety (LFS) assessments in public-use or multi-residential buildings to identify gaps
At Enova, social responsibility is integral to our operations in the Western Balkans.

We develop Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategies, conduct social impact assessments, and design community engagement programs. Our initiatives focus on promoting social equity, ethical business practices, and sustainable development.

By aligning CSR efforts with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the EU’s social policy frameworks, we help organizations contribute positively to society and build enduring stakeholder relationships, supporting the region’s path towards EU accession and socio-economic convergence.
