In partnership with the Water Management Institute d.d. Sarajevo, Enova has launched the development of the Water Management Plan for the Adriatic Sea Basin for the period 2028–2033. This strategic planning document, prepared in accordance with the Water Law of the Federation of BiH, will assess the current state of surface and groundwater, identify challenges and objectives, and define measures to protect and sustainably use these resources.
Transparency and community participation are central to the process. Citizens will be invited to contribute through public consultations, proposing solutions and measures to improve water quality and management.
Enova’s expert team will evaluate pollution pressures, analyze ecological and chemical status, identify risks and sensitive areas, and define necessary protection measures. The team will also provide GIS data processing and economic analyses to accompany the planned measures.
More information on the process is available on the Adriatic Sea Basin Water Agency’s official website. We look forward to this collaboration and will soon invite local communities to participate in defining all “significant water management issues.”
