The main objective of this project is to identify cost-effective measures for energy use and promotion of energy efficiency and savings in public buildings, and thereby reduce the cost of public budgets and harmful emissions into the atmosphere. Activities included (i) implementation of the detailed energy audits of selected public buildings (over 70 in total), (ii) implementation of field measurements in order to determine the energy losses, the current energy efficiency of heating and lighting, and ways in which users control them, (iii) energy classification of selected objects in accordance with the EU directive on the energy performance of buildings and legislation on energy classification of objects in FB&H.
